Degas is an agrifintech company transforming agriculture in Africa by combining data, technology, and innovative financial models to empower smallholder farmers. We partner with cooperatives, distributors, and offtakers to provide farmers with access to high-quality inputs, working capital, and market opportunities. Our embedded financing model uses satellite, agronomic, and transaction data to underwrite risk more efficiently, ensuring both productivity and repayment capacity improve over time.
In Ghana, Degas operates one of the most advanced farmer financing networks in the region. Farmers are supported through every stage of the cycle—from digital registration and input delivery to agronomic monitoring, harvest recovery, and market linkage. By blending field presence with technology, Degas builds long-term trust and financial inclusion for rural communities.
The Field Auditor serves as Degas’ independent control function in the field. This role ensures that farmer registration, activation, input distribution, farm mapping, recoveries, and other key processes are conducted accurately, in compliance with standard operating procedures (SOPs), and free from fraud or manipulation.
The ideal candidate combines analytical thinking, operational rigor, and a strong sense of ethics.
