About the role
The Head of GTM (Go-to-Market) Lead is a key leadership role responsible for driving the commercialization and sales of our geospatial foundation model. This role involves owning your GTM strategy, identifying market opportunities, and forging strong partnerships with industry leaders. You will craft and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, build relationships with key clients, and work cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business objectives. As a founding member of the GTM team, you will focus on bringing our geospatial foundation model to market while working directly with the CEO, and CTO.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for Degas’s geospatial foundation model, focusing on driving revenue growth and market adoption across various sectors.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with enterprise-sized clients in your territory, including Fortune 500 companies or similar key prospects, driving revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with product teams to ensure alignment between sales strategies and product offerings, tailoring solutions to meet client needs.
- Continuously analyze market trends, industry dynamics, and data to refine and optimize the GTM strategy.
You could be a great fit for this role if you have
- 10+ years of experience building and managing sales efforts with deep expertise in Software/SaaS sales, ideally with exposure to AI/ML.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs and work with product teams to commercialize products from scratch, driving them from concept to market success.
- A solid understanding of Remote Sensing and the challenges associated with deriving insights from disparate data sources.
- Expertise in identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing large-scale, complex enterprise sales cycles utilizing MEDDPIC or similar sales methodologies
- A proven track record of consistently exceeding quota and revenue goals in an agile startup environment.
- Advanced sales management skills, including planning, negotiating, and forecasting.
- Superior interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Experience with Hubspot and other CRM and prospecting tools.

Location
This role is remote (with a strong preference for Europe), with travel required to Degas’s regional offices and partner sites as needed.
